Treeline Index is hosted through Cloudflare. Loading a page or media file sends a request to the hosting provider, including technical information such as your IP address. Optional services used by the site are described below.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled in this deployment. This does not prevent Cloudflare from processing the requests needed to host the site.

Regional preference

The site can remember a region preference — US, EU, UK or GLOBAL — in a first-party cookie named region. An initial region may be inferred using Cloudflare's country information. The region picker changes that preference; comparison source links still open their cited storefront, and prices use the currency shown.

Google AdSense and ad privacy choices

We have applied to Google AdSense. Ad serving is not enabled while the site is under review. The site loads Google's AdSense code for the review and consent-message integration, so Google receives technical request information, including your IP address and browser information, even when no ad appears.

We have configured Google's Privacy & messaging service for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. When this message is available, you can consent, choose Do not consent, or manage purposes and partners individually. Closing the message also declines consent. The message lists the applicable partners and their purposes. Google stores your consent choices in your browser.

If advertising is enabled later, Google and the partners listed in the consent message may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, personalization and measurement according to your choices and the applicable requirements. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Where the European consent message is displayed, use Google's Privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of the page to reopen it and change or withdraw your choices. If that link is not present, ad serving remains disabled during our integration review.

Klaro's builder-service controls below are separate from Google's ad-consent choices.

External product websites

Affiliate monetization is inactive. Following an ordinary product-source link takes you to a manufacturer or retailer that receives your request and may use its own cookies. Its privacy policy applies there. Our cookie manager cannot control those external cookies.

Fonts and the gear builder

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the associated browser requests. The gear builder can request climate data from Open-Meteo, place-search results from OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. These providers receive technical request information; climate requests include the selected coordinates, place searches include the entered search text, and map requests identify the viewed area. Their individual controls are available in the cookie manager. Climate results may be cached in your browser's session storage.

Newsletter signup is not currently available. There is no active newsletter subscription form collecting email addresses on this site.

Klaro cookie manager

We use Klaro for the listed preferences and optional builder services. It stores choices in a first-party cookie named klaro, configured to expire after 365 days. It does not control requests to the hosting provider, Google Fonts or websites you visit through outbound links.
