Treeline Index is a static site with no backend user tracking. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data beyond what is necessary to serve the site.

Analytics

Treeline Index uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic. Cloudflare's analytics do not use cookies or track individuals across websites — they use Cloudflare's network logs to count page views and measure performance. This service is privacy-friendly by design.

Regional preference

We store a single-letter region preference (US, EU, UK, or GLOBAL) in a first-party cookie to route affiliate links to the correct vendors. This cookie is set to default-on under GDPR's legitimate-interest basis — it carries no personally identifiable information and is used only to serve you the correct regional pricing and affiliate URLs. You can change this setting via the cookie banner on any page.

Affiliate cookies

When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (Amazon, REI, etc.) may set cookies on their own domain. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide with our email provider solely to send you newsletter updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
